VaST Systems Technology CTO to Chair Compilation & Power Session at EMSOFT, Present at EMSOFT and PARC
SUNNYVALE, California, September 19, 2005 — VaST Systems Technology Corporation today announced that founder, CTO and Chief Strategy Officer Graham Hellestrand will chair the Compilation and Power Session at EMSOFT in Jersey City, NJ on September 20, 2005 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm EST. Hellestrand also will present a paper entitled Systems Architecture the Empirical Way: Abstract Architectures to "Optimal" Systems in the Design Methodologies Session from 10:30am to 11:45am on the same day.
The Second International Workshop on Power-aware Real-time Computing (PARC '05) will be held in conjunction with EMSOFT. On September 22 in the session on Profiling and Instrumentation from 4:00 to 5:00pm, Hellestrand will present a paper written by himself, Mahdi Seddighnezhad and Jim Brogan — all of VaST — entitled Profiles in Power: Optimizing Real-Time Systems for Performance and Power.
EMSOFT is co-located with ISS+CODES as part of Embedded Systems Week, which runs from September 18 to 23. EMSOFT is the flagship conference of the ACM Special Interest Group on Embedded Computing (SIGBED)
