Virtualization and Model Based Design of Automotive Electronics

Automotive Electronic Systems are becoming ever more complex due to more stringent emission regulation, greater fuel-efficiency requirements, and greater demand for passenger comfort, infotainment, and safety systems. New system software architecture standards such as AUTOSAR must also be taken into account when designing modern electronic control units.

This seminar will demonstrate an enhanced design flow featuring a New V-Cycle that delivers greater design productivity at lower cost-from capture of system specification to software development and testing using virtual system prototypes. This New V-Cycle is proven through production use at major Japanese and US OEMs and Tiers1s. This seminar will provide perspectives from ecosystem partners (Green Hills Software) including leading automotive semiconductor suppliers (Freescale, Infineon, Renesas) who support this new design methodology.
