Douglas Chu

Douglas Chu has over 10 years of experience as a technology investment banker, having advised technology clients on capital raising and mergers & acquisitions while working at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and Bank of America. Mr. Chu has specific expertise in technical software, semiconductors and hardware design. Prior to his investment banking career, he was an aerospace engineer at McDonnell Douglas. He has a BS from MIT, an MS from Princeton University, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.

Alberto Sangiovanni-Vincentelli
The Edgar L. and Harold H. Chair of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University Of California at Berkeley

Alberto has been on the faculty of UC Berkeley for more that 30 years. In addition to being an author of more than 800 papers and 15 books in the area of semiconductor and system design methodologies and tools, he has a strong interest in transfering research results to the industrial domain. He helped founding Cadence and Synopsys and is on the Board of Directors of Cadence, Sonics, UPEK and Accent. He is on the Scientific Advisory Council of GM and was a member of the Strategic Technology Advisory Board of HP. In 1996 he founded PARADES, a European Group of Economic Interest funded originally by Cadence, Magneti-Marelli and ST Microelectronics, a research organization located in Rome focusing on automotive electronic design and architecture. He is Fellow of the IEEE and a Member of the National Academy of Engineering..
